USA: Band receives death threat for not playing an encore

US band Wavves received a death threat at a show in Texas because they didn't play at encore.

American indie-rockers Wavves received a death threat at their Houston concert on 21 October 2018, reported Houston Chronicle.

The band’s frontman Nathan Williams tweeted that someone at the show threatened to kill them because they didn’t play an encore.

Representatives for Wavves confirmed the incident took place and said the person in question was removed from the venue by security. No further comments were offered.

Wavves is currently promoting the 2017 album You’re Welcome on a tour with Beach Fossils.
