The General Overseer of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei (popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha), has reportedly placed a “spiritual injunction” on Ghanaian musician Patapaa’s “One Corner”, a hit song making waves in Ghana, calling the music “demonic, stupid and useless”, reported Prime News Ghana on 14 October 2017.

Osei called on religious leaders in the country to stand up against the song, alleging that it promotes promiscuity as the song features an accompanying dance move craze that is “not in tune with the upbringing of the youth in Ghana”.

Earlier in October, Osei threatened to go to court to seek an injunction to stop all radio and television stations across the country from playing the song, reported Pulse Ghana. He later, however, rescinded his initial decision for such an injunction, opting for the “spiritual injunction”.
