On 2 March 2010 at 6 PM the debate ‘Music freedom and freedom in music’ will take place in the Cultural Centre in Gdańsk-Morena.

Musicians Jacek Staniszewski and Grzegorz Welizarowicz will participate in the debate sharing their experience.

Indeks 73 activists Lidia Makowska & Agnieszka Kaim will discuss the censorship in music, Polish law & Polish censorship music cases, presenting the report about artistic censorhip in Poland etc. Also, Agnieszka Kaim from Indeks 73 will make a short presentation about the idea of Music Freedom Day and about Freemuse.

Then there will be a Samba Rhythms of Resistance Trójmiasto concert, which will show another aspect of music and freedom. The RoR movement use samba music to protest against discrimination and exploitation.
