Freemuse’s activities in 2010

Artists Alert Action Project
15 September 2010 to 15 April 2012
The Artists Alert Action Project is Freemuse’s main activity for this period. It includes: the establishment of three local and regional support networks in high risk areas, offering immediate and relevant support to music creators suffering repression and persecution; creation of an online action manual in collaboration with other freedom of expression and human rights agencies; and mapping of arts residencies in the three regions. The project is funded by Sweden’s Special Initiative for Democratisation and Freedom of Expression.
