Norway in the forthcoming strategy for foreign affairs and development cooperation should incorporate the defence and promotion of artistic freedom and support monitoring and research in this field. Today, this call was jointly forwarded to the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Børge Brende, by Deeyah, Freemuse and SafeMUSE as a response to the ministry’s call for civil society inputs to a new strategy.
