Lavon Volski, one of the most famous rock artists in Belarus, made a surprise performance in the metro of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on 14 September 2015.

Lavon Volski is banned from performing in Belarus. But returning from a performance in United Kingdom where Lavon Volski teamed up with Freemuse, Ramy Essam, Deeyah and Fermin Muguruzu, he decided to make a spontaneous street performance – and, as it turned out, was filmed by KGB.

Lavon Volski’s songs – although banned in Belarus – are well-known by thousands of people, and many people in Minsk stopped and spontaneously joined the chorus of his songs.
